An Apple Tree

She waLked

Into the realm of the unknown 

Knowing that she’d find only darkness.
She walked through fright and fear
For a reason incomprehensible
Through struggles indescribable
Some asked why
SOme asked where
But she only walked
Until the very last moment
Until she came upon a hill
A hill of perspective
And as she climbed
She saw the light within the darkness
Coming from a distance,
At the end of her View.
There stood an apple tree
A tree mature and divine
With a man sitting at its roots
Waiting, as she approached
And He, without a hello
Held hEr in his arms.
