pride of my being

blood of my ancestors

Born to live and be bright

But fading into a mist

David Ahn

picked up off the street

with no true identity

unknown even to himself

Refused by society

Because of his flaws

Davy Ahn

a mistake gone right

proven to be true

the last piece of my puzzle

Here to stay

For the rest of my days

Some will throw it away
That's easy to see

Questions ensue
Thoughts of quitting

Where did you go?
It’s getting colder
And yet you make no appearance.
